Velorix · Tenant solvency file

Close the let with a foreign tenant. Give the insurer a file it can study.

We prepare the international tenant's solvency file for the landlord's own insurer to study for rent-default insurance, so you can close a let that used to stall.

The problem it solves

The tenant can pay. The insurer asks for a Spanish payslip.

Landlords who protect their rent with default insurance often turn down international tenants, because the insurer wants a Spanish payslip. The tenant walks away and the let stalls.

No Spanish payslip.

Income earned abroad does not fit the insurer's usual study.

No Spanish paperwork yet.

Without an NIE or a Spanish bank account, the file is incomplete from the start.

A nervous landlord.

Without the insurance, the landlord prefers to wait for another tenant.

How it works

Three steps.

01

You send us the tenant.

One message with the tenant and the property. You stay the agent on the let.

02

We prepare the file.

We gather and review the tenant's NIE, a Spanish bank account and certified, translated proof of foreign income. We prepare the documents and accompany the tenant; the bank opens the account.

03

The landlord's insurer decides.

The file goes to the landlord's own insurer to study. The landlord takes out the policy directly with that insurer.

What's included

What you get.

At a glance
  • A tenant solvency file, prepared for the landlord's own insurer to study.
  • NIE documents prepared and reviewed, with accompaniment to the appointment.
  • Spanish bank account: we prepare the documents and present the tenant to the bank.
  • Proof of foreign income, certified and translated.
  • A multilingual team in contact with the tenant.
  • The tenant stays your client: we never prospect or cross-sell.
What Velorix does not do.Velorix does not sell or broker insurance. The landlord takes out the policy directly with their insurer, and acceptance depends on the insurer and on each tenant's profile: nothing here guarantees approval.

Let's talk it through
Does Velorix sell the insurance?

No. Velorix does not sell or broker insurance. We prepare the tenant's solvency file; the landlord takes out the policy directly with their own insurer.

Is approval guaranteed?

No. The insurer decides, based on each tenant's profile. We prepare the file for the insurer to study; we cannot promise the outcome.

What goes into the file?

The tenant's NIE, a Spanish bank account and certified, translated proof of income earned abroad. We prepare the documents and accompany the tenant to the appointments; the bank opens the account.

Does the tenant stay my client?

Yes. We work as your back-office, never as a competing agent, and we never prospect or cross-sell the clients you send us.

What do I get out of it?

The let you close. If a referral fee applies to the file itself, it is agreed with you in writing before the case starts. Becoming a Premium Agent has no fee and no volume commitment.
